Fight Poker Demo

Fight Poker is a 1v1 poker game where you try to form better hands than your opponent to score points. 

Beta: This is my first public demo of the game, which will run from April 7, 2025 to April 14, 2025. Please comment about any bugs or suggestions you have for the game. Early in development.

How to play:

1. After entering a user name, click Next to go to the menu, then click Play.  If it goes to the "Waiting Screen", it is working. You are now in queue, and the game will start once someone else joins. (I don't know how many people will play this, so you might want to get a friend to play with you. Otherwise the queues could get very long)

2. Once in, you will be dealt 4 cards, and one card will be put in the river. Drag cards from your hand to locations on your side of the board. Once both you and your opponent push enter or you both finish playing all your cards, the game will check each player's attack hand. If it is a better poker hand than the opposite defensing poker hand, that player scores a point.

3. After some time, a countdown will start and the game will automatically move on

4. There are 5 rounds in total. Each round besides the first deals 3 cards to each player and adds another card to the river. Keep playing cards to improve the hands from before. You can replace a card by dragging it on top of one already in play. Every round, points will be scored.

5. The 5th round scores 2x points. Once this round is done, whoever has more points wins. If both players are tied, the game continues until someone breaks the tie or until the 7th round, in which case the game ends in a draw.

6. Once a game is over, you can push 'enter' to play again
